His first instinct when adversity presents itself is to find someone or something to scapegoat.

Quite frankly, I don't find that in any way a knock on ND. Maybe it was meant to be but, the last name is "University" not "franchise." I love the SCHOOL, not the TEAM.

ND radio is saying that they have to wait 30 minutes after the last strike in the stadium radius of 10 miles before the teams can come out and warmup to restart the game.

    Speaking of strikes....

ND really has not had good luck with weather conditions when visiting NCS. At least you are not seeing Kelly trying to pass in a hurricane.

No only that we were running out of the shotgun and that asswipe blamed his center for errant snaps.

3 stupid penalties in a row. Horrible!

Edit: Penalties led to NCS TD. Ugh!

The call on Morrison was awful. The receiver stepped on him and then gave him a shot while he was on the ground. No flag. He pushes back and gets flagged , if the ref had been doing his job he would have flagged the NC St player. BS first TD allowed by D this season and it took 3 flags

Wow...what a drive! 17-7 now. The 7 by NCState was sort of a gift by the defensive penalties, all of them stupid.

Mike as long as I have been watching football, it's the 2nd guy who always gets the penalty.

Big play late TD helps to offset penalty-enabled TD by NCS. Now let's regroup at halftime and eliminate the careless play

P.S. I agree with Terry on the penalty. Regardless, it showed a lack of discipline. This must be corrected.

As well he should. I wasn't disagreeing with you, just pointing out that the 2nd guy is usually the one who gets noticed and gets the flag.

Wow more penalties help them to the FG. That last one was I guess technically correct but I have to call it a BS call as did the broadcast crew. Oh well. 10 penalities, not good.

Holden Staes...remember that name, he's got a lot of potential. 3 plays 76 yards and just like that the lead it 14 points. 24-`10. Now come on defense start playing smart and no helping penalties!

State answeres right back, big pass play was the key. Great pass and the kid laid out and got it.

    Armstrong is heating up
