This year they kept the all gold helmet and just added the outline of a shamrock on the side. Consensus seems to be they're a big improvement over last year. Actually, I like occasional tweeking. Kind of miss those Irish green shoes from the Dublin game last year.
 re: Junipero Serra HS There are two Junipero Serra High Schools in SoCal, but I don't think Dickerson goes to either one. I believe that he goes to the Serra High School up in NoCal...
 Dickerson's Serra HS is up in San Mateo... <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/98e-eNlvVco?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0"></iframe>
ND <t>Clever? Hmmm. I'm really surprised anyone from the SEC world is capable of doing that work but...maybe he had a Vandy grad do it. I'm not amused.</t>
I watched the videos from the 1st day, one was just players working out and the other was Kelly after practice. Not much from either, in fact Kelly even praised Luke Massa on the 1st day work out...you remember Luke right?
punter <t>if I'm understanding correctly the Wake Forest punter who transferred to ND is winning the punting competition so far.</t>
Kelly still hasn't got a signed contract. I didn't know what to make of his comments the other day. I really thought that they were waiting for the fall camp to open to announce his new contract..but nada. I am puzzled as to what could be the hangup.
8) re: punter from Wake Forest Like a _________________(fill in the blank)____. You know he's had a lot of repetitions...

 That's a good analysis of GAIII. The running back position won't sort itself out immediately. The Irish have several good backs returning and a few more coming in. The opportunity is there for the younger guys, if they can seize it.
