My buddy passed a 48' tractor trailer bearing the logo of "University of Notre Dame" heading south on the Florida TP yesterday. It appears we are going to show up on Monday night in spite of the dire predictions.
Gip and Terry, back then I don't think they even had the one commercial highlighting the school or the conference. TV has come a long, long way since our days as students.

I don't have a propane grill but I would have assumed exactly what she assumed, that it's a gas and would have dissapated quickly. Now I know. Stick with Charcoal.
On a lighter note...ever wonder what Pat Dillingham is doing these days? Well he's a Tennessee Moonshiner now!! Dillingham
with the changing laws here in the South about beer and booze, there's some great companies and brands popping up all over the place. I'll have to find theirs out and make sure to make a purchase...or 3.
Irish pick up Max Redfield as has been predicted. He's a big time DB who is projected as a Safety and is our 3rd 5* player. Rivals has us #1 in recruiting right now. Hopefully we can pickup Eddie Vanderdoes as wel that would pretty much seal the deal for us in recruiting. I think there are other guys that they will continue to recruit but I am not sure we'll have room.
I don't follow recruiting except for what I read here, but to be ranked #1, if only for a while, is pretty cool.
ND <t>with Max Redfield on board this class just turned from great to fantastic!<br/> <br/> Go Irish!</t>
 Holy tamole! I never dreamed that we could snatch Max Redfield away from USC. He plays at Mission Viejo HS, which is one of the state powers here. His HS coach was Bob Johnson, one of the premier HS coaches in the nation and the father of Rob Johnson, a former USC and NFL QB who is the offensive coordinator there... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Johnson_(American_football) Max Redfield is an NFL size safety who could also play LB or play near the line in certain run stopping situations. He's a faster version of Motta who has a chance to play immediately. He is also a HUGE loss for the Trojans who needed him badly... http://espn.go.com/college-sports/recruiting/story/_/id/8814615/max-redfield-commits-notre-dame-boosts-irish-no-1-recruiting-class
