It appears that the Denver Broncos have released Audric Estime. Apparently the RB room was crowded.

This was the Carr that I remembered, now seeing him with a ND cap is confusing!! :D:eek:

Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr was just a few months removed from leading the team to the 1997 national championship when a radio announcer asked him a question.

The Wolverines had just barely eked out a win over Minnesota, and Carr was asked if he felt the need to deliver a Knute Rockne halftime team talk to spur his players to victory.

The name of the legendary Notre Dame coach landed like a cockroach in Carr’s cup of coffee.

“I might deliver a Fielding Yost-type talk or a Bo Schembechler talk, or Fritz Crisler,” he fired back. “But I will never give a Knute Rockne talk.”

ND needs to win one of these first two games if they are going to be in the playoff.

OL needs to keep Carr upright to win and that will be tough in the environment.

If the O line can get our running game going, it will really help Carr.

How do you not like a guy like Marcus Freeman! This really shows his character. There is only a few seconds of analysis of the CFP game with the Buckeyes, mostly about his family.

Wow! I normally don't watch entire videos like that. Too long for my old man's attention span. But I was glued to every second of that interview. He truly is an incredible person as well as a pretty decent head coach. As relaxed as he was, I could feel the underlying intensity, and, as you said, his character was evident. Thanks, Terry.

Well after all the speculation we’re about to find out what CJ Carr is all about. Tough situation to have his first start but it is what it is. Hopefully he is up for it. Go Irish!

I don't think we should expect too much from CJ, it's his first game and has zero experience in college. I think we'll need a great effort from a veteran defense and a great game from the OL/ RB''s all taking the pressure off of CJ.

Besides how will CJ perform, I worry about our kicking game. New place kicker, and last year our punter was just ok, it was his first year of American football being from Australia. Now a lot of those Australian kickers are really great, he was just OK.
