Another great Commit for ND. Jonaz Walton, Georgia RB. Looks like a great get for the Irish. Watched his commitment live and he has a great family also.

Irish baseball fate pretty much comes down to the final regular season series at Miami. Win 2 out of 3 and we have a shot.

Irish baseball took the series at Miami, after getting run ruled in game 2, they came back and soundly beat the Hurricanes. Probably need a win or 2 iat least in the ACC Tournament though to really seal the deal making the the NCAA Tournament.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Notre Dame baseball team outscored Miami 10-0 over the final four innings for a 12-2 victory and to take the series over the Hurricanes in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon.

Here is the seeding chart for the ACC Baseball tournament. In mid-April we lost 2 of 3 at BC, all 3 games were close.

More and more looking like this will be the last USC/ND regular season game. Still in talks but the 9 game schedule is a big sticking point for the Trojans. I read that USC wants to make it the opening game if it continues.

    100 years of tradition...maybe gone.

GM's in football are becoming a required staff position. Not so much, yet in basketball, but it is a trend for sure. ND hired Pat Garrity as GM for both men's and women's basketball programs. Pat was a great player at ND and played in the NBA and has a MBA from Duke. Hopefully this signals a big time commitment to having a top 25 or better program, something that hasn't been the usual for the men but has been usual for the women.

Notre Dame has hired alum Pat Garrity in a trailblazing new role for its men's and women's basketball teams, sources told CBS Sports. The 1998 graduate and former NBA player will be the general manager for both programs, in addition overseeing men's basketball as its primary sports administrator. Garrity, 48, is one of only two people believed to ever occupy this type of role — a dual GM, in addition to being the lead administrator for a revenue sport — in college athletics.

ND baseball lost 5-4 to Boston College in the ACC tournamant. It looks like the 2025 season is over, but the late season success portends well for the future.

Well, well, well. Looks like we can stay independent and get a first round playoff bye after all according to the new playoff format. That’s right, we don’t need no stinking conference!!

It just so happens that every team that got a bye in the first round lost in the second round in the playoffs. Guess they've decided that a bye isn't an advantage at all. So, ND can have one.

Our best softball player, Addison Amaral, a sophmore from NoCal who had a great year but like Joely Mitchell last year who left for Texas she no doubt see's the Irish program as mediocre going forward and is looking for a place where she can play in the WCWS. BTW Joely Mitchell has been a great pickup for the Longhorns, she does have her ND degree though having left after 4 years with the Irish.

Looks like we picked up a 5-star TE who decommitted from Ga. Oscar Delph 6'5" 245 lbs.

Gip are you sure? Oscar Delp is a UGA TE who opted out of the NFL draft to play another year for Georgia.
