Would rather have seen a 13-0 Ok St play LSU myself but they couldn't keep it together because of poor defense against a lesser opponent so in this case Bama's resume was much stronger.

The Cowboys gave up 27 ppg this season......quite a bit for team that was the closest to unseating Alabama for the 2nd slot.

 

Look, you can argue it a hundred ways. I, for one am tired of it. Big Powerful Alabama has a couple of warts on their resume as well.

 

You mean like FG attempts that look like O'Keefe drives?

 

If he was a left-footed kicker, they would look like Baker drives. :lol:

 

Warts maybe.....but only one extremely close loss to #1 LSU.....not a loss in which they gave up say....37 points to Tennesee, etc. etc.

Let's see.....ultra high scoring Big 12 team vs. an SEC team with a very good defense playing for the BCS national title...

Hey it's been a long time since Gipper has played with me and I have worked very hard, this summer alone I actually hit a couple of fairways and I don't lose nearly as many balls as I used to!! :wink: :wink: :wink:

 

I played with gipper in 1998, and I'm sure he has forgotten how bad my game is. Unfortunately, it hasn't improved since then. Terry, at least you're showing progress.
