With our win over Dayton this evening, we will advance the semi finals in New York Tuesday. We will be paired up against Mississippi.

If the Gators and Buckeyes both win, then we will face each other for the championship.

Would make for an interesting NIT final to see them both at it again for a championship.....

Buckeyes will play UMass in the title game Thursday. Ohio State won over Mississippi and Florida lost to the Minutemen.

Don, great first half by those kids. It's unfortunate that they have decided to wait until now to play their best basketball. The popular notion was a Buckeye-Gator rematch for the title. I know many are disappointed that our Gator friends didn't hold up their end of the bargain but after watching UMASS play it's clear we're going to have our hands full Thursday night.

Ohio State wins over UMass 92-85 to capture NIT.

While I am disappointed we did not make the Big Dance, it was a nice way for Butler, Hunter and Twig to finish up as seniors.

    Congratulations to OSU.

I'm sure sorry the Gators didn't hold up our end to have another rematch, which I think Ohio State would have won.

Great way to end a brilliant career for Butler. A much underappreciated player, he'll go down as one of the finest point guards ever to wear a Buckeye uni. Twigs and Hunter also both really stepped up their games this year and Hunter might even have earned himself a job at the next level. It's unfortunate that this group chose to play their best basketball just a few weeks too late......

The extra playing time and tourney experience will surely help what could be a very, very good basketball team next year if Koufos stays.....which at this point is a BIG IF. He turned down big money last year to play in Greece and I think with his MVP performance in the NIT the money just got a lot bigger......

Bill, I agree, it's too bad we couldn't have had another "title" game with the Gators....
