Nice article Kp and a lot of truth in what is being said. Sounds like a wonderful 4-year experience that he will remember forever! Some youngsters do manage to get the message from their college coaches. Unfortunately, there are many others who do not.

That was a really nice commentary by a very sharp and successful young man. It speaks very well to the essence of what makes your program great. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

I have noticed that there is a little bit of a trend for players to post farewell letters on Instagram or other social media. I've seen some from Texas and ND players, even players who are transferring post things where they say a lot of nice things about their experience at the University.

I think it's a good trend. For all the media about how players should get paid and stuff like that, it's nice to see that at least some players appreciate that they got an education, that they grew as men/women, that they made life long friends, etc. I think they should have an appreciation for their college experience.

Yeah, hopefully it is actually written by the player and is from a desire to express his thoughts on his coaches, his school and the fans of his school. The cynic in me worries that the PR folks composed it. My optimistic side is happy that an articulate young man felt compelled to acknowledge his opportunities.
