I am curious if the long-awaited play between opponents will affect the Blue Jackets. Could go either way with much-rested legs or some rust from not playing a bit quicker. Bruins are always tough at home.

The Bruins are always tough in the playoffs and that damned Marchand is like 3 feet tall so he's hard to find on the ice until he hits you. This should be a fun series. I think it's a bad matchup for the Blue Jackets, but they played so well in the 1st round, who knows what will happen? Just take em one game at a time I suppose.

The Blues looked good and escaped by their toenails in that 3rd period. Dallas is such a weird team. I have no idea why they always start slow and then slowly build the pressure over the game until they are dominating the 3rd, but it bit them in the butt last night against a very solid St.Louis team.

As for Boston, the key to beating them is the Marchand line which seems to always be on the ice. Maybe Columbus can grind them down...

Oh, did you see the NHL issued an apology to Las Vegas? They also took the officials out of rotation for the next round. Turns out that 5 minute major that turned the game on it's head, should have only been a 2 minute minor. The official got caught up in the moment and gave a 5 minute major which allowed San Jose the chance for their amazing comebac.

The current series with the Bruins has been breathtaking thus far with two OT games!

    Don,
Look for more of the same the rest of the way. These two teams aren't going to back down and they'll continue to play it close to the vest and try to out chess match each other (and hit).. Good times. I had to basically live blog the game to Carson (he's a Bruins fan) on Facebook last night. I really wish I could get him over here to the Skybox. He's known so many members since he could first stand and swing a golf club.

Dallas Skates better, passes better, is faster, and SWARMS to the puck! Yet 2-1 Blues?

Blue Jackets will play on home ice this evening, fans are going wild and ticket prices out of sight. I sort of doubt home ice advantage this evening but we will see?

Columbus is becoming a very difficult place to play and they seem to dig this whole new playoff atmosphere. It's the heroin of the sports world. Once it's in your veins, it's there forever. Welcome to Columbus, the latest hockey town USA.

    AJ,

You're not fooling anyone with those little old us routine. :D

Bruins hand us a convincing loss 4-1! All even at 2-2 after four games, on to Boston for Game 5.

The Marchand line and a few other players had been contained all series, but they finally played well tonight. You guys just need 2 more.

And so do they. In game 3 they were hitting the post and cross bar...in game 4 it was us. We got a nice break with that blown call but couldn't take advantage of it. Bobrowski played really well but didn't make all the "impossible...you can't do that" saves that he has been making.
