If the Pats and or Rams dont make it to the SB...then that ends the longest streak (25 years) for a College team represented in the Game. Yep...dat be them that thar Cornhuskers. Suh Rams, Burkhead Pats.
Purdue's "streak" ended at 18 years last year...but there is some controversy for both school's claims; mayby Bobda has the bragging rights. Clarifying the Big Ten's Super Bowl streaks https://saturdaytradition.com/purdue-football/purdue-super-bowl-streak/
Just heard at weather channel that it's not supposed to be quite as cold in KC as they were calling for a couple of days ago.
I see they have completely resodded the field at Arrowhead Stadium. It's not that uncommon this time of the year in the playoffs, but I never quite understand it. I mean there is no chance of the turf taking root so how does it better
You remember Kareem Hunt the Chiefs RB who was dynamic in their offense but was released due to video of him beating on a woman. He's under investigation by the League right now, and is undergoing anger management counseling. Not surprising there are teams just waiting and hoping he gets through counseling and that the league finishes it's investigation and decides what the punishment might be for him. When all that is done he's going to have a job, it's sort of like the Astros signing that closer from Toronto who was also involved in beating a woman. As soon as he got cleared he was in uniform pitching for the Astros. Talent seems to count in these cases. Seems like the Chief should get some compensation, the Bluejays did for Osuna.
I know these are all set ahead of time, but it sure would have made more sense to have the Chiefs game early and the Saints (Dome) game the late game
Saints were robbed should have won in regulation. How those refs missed that obvious PI is beyond me.
Heck of a game at Arrowhead. Chiefs up 21-17, under 8 to go in the 4th.. Can they hold off Brady and the Pat's ? I hope so
Well Mahomes gets the Chiefs back on top ... Uh oh .. 2 minutes for Brady and it's 4 downs the rest of the way Come on Chiefs !
crap, not a Superbowl I really want to watch. Guess I'll root for the Rams. I'm sure I can find something more exciting to to for that Sunday.
One thing for sure, the Pats with Brady are always going to be tough to beat. Rams have a big job ahead of them. On Tony Romo, I have to say I'm impressed with how knowledgeable he is, how many times did he call the play that NE ended up running. He was really dialed in, I thought I'd hate him but I've grown to enjoy the x and o's that he brings to the broadcast.
