IDGAF if they roll Liberace out as the next coach. So long as he follows the rules and wins it all, that's all I can ask for
I hope Urban reminds his team about W Va pounding Oklahoma when RR went to Michigan before their Fiesta Bowl game.
ND <r>Corey,<br/> <br/> Liberace? That would be a real trick, I think he's been dead for a few years now.LOL. <E></E></r>
ND <r>It's a great day today. In a few hours the official announcement of ND's new head coach will happen. Can't tell you all how happy this will make me. <br/> <br/> Since Lou left this will be the first time that MY first choice of all the possible replacements as HC has become a reality! <br/> <br/> Bill,<br/> Thanks for the the congrats on Kelly. I hope your not putting a jinx on ND like Terry thinks <E></E> <br/> <br/> <IMG src="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/photo_images/107047/30420_Brian_Kelly.jpg"><s></e></IMG></r>
Kelly is the man for ND in my opinion.....better than anyone else available. I also don't think Notre Dame should be waiting around for him to finish up at Cinci....not with the 9 million dollars it is costing them this year and the recruiting that needs to be done on defense. It's a big job and he deserves the chance to get to it.
In reading Kelly's bio, I noticed that he spent the first 8 years of his college coaching career, at Assumption and Grand Valley State, before he became a head coach, as a defensive coordinator. As prolific as UC's offense is, I would not have guessed that his formative years were spent on the defensive side of the ball.
