I second Bobda's recommendation of New Buffalo. I've been there. I've never been to BH, so I can't compare, but I know that NB would be a nice place to stay.

Sorry AJ... if you guys were at home I'd consider going with the Corn, but Wisc is tough to be on their own turf...

But I'm with ya in spirit. I'm giving the Ags 20 again to take our first "Conference" win this week!
    :p

Really? You guys haven't exactly fared very well vs the Piggies in this series. Both of you coming off of losses yours being gut wrenching and theirs being soundly beaten from start to finish. I'd say it's a toss up.

Wisc vs Neb. Huskers will be going into a crowd that is as rabid, maybe more so than the Sea of Red at home. In fact they are a sea of Red the Huskers might get cornfused during the game. I think this is maybe the best Wisc team in a long time with Russell Wilson at QB. As I said before they have to have made a deal with the Devil to have him drop in their lap. He's just as athletic as the Husker QB and he can actually throw the ball. I look for a big Wisconsin win in this game. Huskers will be undressed, and all they'll have left is their black jocks and black shirts in the end!

I'm putting 20 on ND this week and 19 on Texas, but 18 on Wisconsin!

This is is going to be a classic....the Wisky crowd is as rabid as any you'll find anywhere, esp at night. It's a nasty place to play vastyly more so when they have momentum...last year they returned the opening kick for a score and the place was off the hook and we dug a big hole for ourselves early and could never recover.

It will be important for the Huskers to start well....with a lead, at home with their stable of backs behind that o-line and now with Wilson, coming from behind is not something the Huskers want to do.....this is a classic, big time physical smash mouth football game not for the faint of heart.

Big boy pads required on both sides.....my dilemna....I have both Martinez and Wilson. Who to start?

    :?

Have you seen Martinez in big games? Texas hit him a few times last year and he disappeared, A&M hit him hard and he called his dad at halftime.

See, normally I would defend, but Doc is right. Martinez has yet to show any moxy to me yet. If Wisc gets in his OODA loop, then it'll be disaterous.

The only warm fuzzy I get is that the backup is Brion Carnes, kinfolk to Tommie.

Here's something to ponder. Let's just say for the sake of conversation that Wilson has a great game Sat on Nat'l TV and the Badgers beat Neb. OK he's starting to get some Heisman hype...so if the Badgers go through the B1G undefeated and he wins the Heisman this year...how stupid will Tom O'Brien the NC State coach look for running him off? :?: :?:

Insert Cam Newton and Meyer in that question.

    Maybe O'Brien had good reason?

I'll bet not even 5% of Gator fans wanted Cam Newton doing his thing at UF with all of the NCAA baggage he had.

Don't know anything about the reasons Wilson was run off though.

Wilson was run off because he wanted to play minor league baseball last summer, O'Brien told him if he wouldn't commit full time to football he should move on someplace else.

The old-timers think he can and should stay until they put him in a box....the rest of them, my spouse included, says that's OK, but thinks they should put him in that box NOW.....

Rumor has it that they will just send him to the taxidermist and then roll him out to the sidelines each Sat.
