So in November the D gave up 1 TD. And, it was after the O coughed the ball up on the 2 yd. line. AND.....SC NEEDED 4 DOWNS TO PUNCH IT IN!!!!
For ND fans a matchup with NC St. would be very interesting. After all one of the D coaches at NCS is Tenuta...the bastard that explained his failure at ND as a lack of talent.

Tenuta was an abject failure at Notre Dame. I heard all about his coaching technique from Carlo. Mainly consisted of an endless stream of obscenities shouted at his players from a distance. The players hated him.

I found this comment by JO'Co
To dovetail well with this comment by a USC fan on the WeAreSC board.

I found this quote from Bill Plachke of th L.A. Time: " Put it another way: In a battle of first-year coaches, Brian Kelly seems to give Notre Dame a lot more hope than Kiffin gives USC."

    Excellent weekend for ND Sports.

    1. Beat the Condoms and break the streak
    2. Ladies Soccer defeats OK State at Stillwater to go to Soccer Final 4 (again)
    3. Mens Basketball downs Wisconsin to win Old Spice Classic
    4. Womens Basketball downs Butler to win WBCA Classic.

    Not bad.

    Go Irish!

That was fun to watch. 33 is a horse! The best part was the camera pan to Kiffin after the score. Thanks Tim!

I think Jif would refer to that look as a Kiffin Face! :)

Irish pickup another commit, Cam McDaniel a Texas kid!! Can play RB, WR, CB or S. Currently the #100 player on the top 100 in Texas as ranked by InsideTexas.

I'm thinking this kid is a Kelly RKG type of player.

I just returned from 5 days in Santa Fe, NM, as the house guest of my college roommate. Great trip! We watched the game at the home of a USC alum who was a gracious host and a civil loser. I was a model of restraint, a complete gentleman. Not once all night did I let on that I've hated USC for the past 50 years.

This was a watershed victory for the seniors, for Kelly, and for the defensive coaching staff.

I admire your ability to remain cool and calm while watching the game. I have to admit I would not have been able to restrain myself. <E>8)</E></r>

Normally the weather is fine for football here in late Dec. The possibility of ND being here in the Sun Bowl is the big talk around town now. <br/>
