That's okay Michigan couldn't cover anybody either. The clock just ran out on Notre Dame. If they had gotten into OT this one could have gone on forever.
Being from the South its all about the SEC when it comes to college football and their fans, and my team (For the time being) is in the ACC which is only a small shadow compared to the other conference. One of the most impressive things I enjoyed this weekend were the fans from Penn St and Michigan and their noise and fervor that still rings my ears..It was inspiring and fun to watch even if Bama dominated the Lions...
I wish this could have read.... It was inspiring and fun to watch even if Bama dominated the Lions and the Irish handled Michigan easily. Of course we know it didn't, except in my dreams!
I'm sorry, I remember all those games guys but this one hurts worse. Those were good teams. No disrespect to Michigan and I like their coaches a great deal.. but they are a very average football team. I can't remember losing to a Michigan team this bad... I'd just as soon start thinking about Michigan State. This game is a naughty touch that won't go away.
After 2 times we had to come up with something else. "Insanity is doing the same thing time after time and expecting a different result." ******* insane play calling.
 I did see some progress on Saturday. He finally started Rees instead of Crist, so we are now one step closer to Hendrix... He yanked Riddick off the punt return team, so now Goodman is calling fair catches again... BTW, did you know that we have guys on that team, like Collinsworth, Atkinson and McDaniel who were great punt returners in places like Kentucky, California and Texas? Sure would be nice to see what they can do... He started Carlo and brought Fox in on pass situations, so that looked much better... I wonder how long Turk can hold on to that punter's job...
