Sounds like sour apples George. Actually I wouldn't mind bites of those compared to the steamin' piles that were served in the Hindenburg conference we just came from.
So far no complaints about being in the B10. I know, I know...it's way to early according to some, but all the feedback I heard/read/watched/talked about has been really positive. Most B10 folks are very excited and proud to add a succesful program as ours to their ranks. And until further notice, I'll support each and every team in my new home....except Iowa and Punk State. Especially Iowa. To much jealousy and animosity exists for them turd farmers. we'll see ya in Nov. Best thing to come outa Iowa? Interstate 80.
Not so fast my friend......Au contraire. I'm good for two of these per season, though admittedly it's very difficult to hold ones nose and type at the same time......... Go Blue!
I am saddened and depressed, BT, by your tardy and half-hearted endorsement. When your pals here had the beat-on-Tresell-with-a-big-ass-shillelagh festival ( recall Jo Co's shock that there was so little moral outrage coming from Buckeye fans over what he considered the mortal sins of an revered program now turned gangster) going on here this summer, Moi never joined in the fray but spoke of your coach with the respect he so richly deserved. But, when the Irish snipers here have my poor WW in their keyboard gunsites, who comes to my aid? Only the new guy who, with no dog in this fight in the past, boldly answers the clarion call of iron-clad conference solidarity, eternal friendship, and unbreakable brotherhood with vigor and force. Come Oct 8th, my best ( and maybe only) friend Lloyd, wearing a new red and white dog collar, and I will be sitting in front of the TV rooting for team whose fan is the embodiment of those rare but revered qualities of loyalty and comradeship.
I don't think Bobda has forgiven BT for unleashing a pack of Police Dogs on him and the UM team when He went down to the Shoe for a game!
Hmmm.... Hard to log in, Bobda, after all that criticism... But I have always been a conference guy, so regardless of your undeserved criticism of your conference brethren, and despite the fact that I could never compete with you in a verbal contest (damn lawyers)...I just want to tell you that this is sincere; Go Blue!
Internal conference strife. Love it. Thanks AJ for diverting Bobda's attention from Saturday's clash in Ann Arbor. We ND guys are glad you now are in the B1G.
For Bobda... <object><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LdsW4O7VGR0?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LdsW4O7VGR0?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>
Bobda, my good and dear friend and forever faithful conference colleague, my response was perhaps tardy but by no means half-hearted...please note I did use the huge font in blue as evidence of my sincerity....as for the Tressel matter, it's comforting to know that your moral compass continues to point you in the proper direction
welcome to the Big10 AJ... It really sounds wonderful, and the job has a nifty title, but eventually you just wind up fetching coffee for Michigan and Ohio State.
LOL>..I have to save JO'Co's cartoon, now that was funny! BTW: on the game Sat night, assuming we don't sh#t the bed again with 5 turnovers, it all gets down to can we contain Denard Robinson.
A very topical cut from the West Wing!! Michigan Sucks!! <iframe width="420" height="345" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6F1RrKDNlbE" frameborder="0"></iframe>
