Checked with my mother since she lives in Brooklyn. She says that time is safe. There are 3 ethnic groups you worry about. Being PC, one group is getting ready for morning mass, one group is still in bed and one group can't get their cars started.
Gipper...ROTFL!!! re: E-shock I watched that Army all-star game and the three best defensive players on the field (by far) were Tuitt, E-shock and Aaron Lynch. The Irish now have two out of three with a possible sweep. Wowza... This news also explains what happened to Scarlett. There was no room for him so he bowed out quietly and there may not be room for others, like Troy Niklas... What a class!
ND <r>George,<br/> <br/> Lynch submitted his early enrollment paperwork at 3 different schools from what I hear(ND obviously being one) so he will appear on the student directory of all those schools. <br/> <br/> <br/> I'm hoping that after this weekend the only directory he appears on is <B><s></s>The University of Notre Dame.<br/> <e></e></B></r>
Defense <r>I'm sorry if I sound a little excited but.....<SIZE size="200"><s></s><B><s></s>THIS IS ONE HELL OF A CLASS OF DEFENSIVE RECRUITS FOR ND!!<e></e></B><e></e></SIZE></r>
Very exciting defensive class, now hopefully we can hang on to Tuitt who is "checking out" Ga.Tech again this weekend. Then there is still Hounshell out there who gave his verbal to UF but is still considering the Irish. He supposedly could play DL or OL and with the class of Tuitt, Lynch, Williams and Rabasa that would allow the Irish to slot him as an OL from the start, which is what the Gators recruited him to play.
LYNCH <t>Let's hope that adding both Lynch and Williams will keep Tuitt in the fold. I have a hard time believing anything at Gt would pull him away from ND. Then again, the way this recruiting season has gone, anything is possible.</t>
Geez.....looks like Arkansas must have ALOT of departing seniors???? Or not....Bobby Dodd is rolling over in his grave.
Sort of a wide range #3, 11 on Rivals, and #13 on ESPN. I think Rivals and ESPN haven't updated, so I expect we'll move up into the top 10 with Lynch and Williams on board. Both of those guys are early entry guys and will start classes this next week.
Terry, This is kind of what I was referring to earlier. These are all the same players but there is a wide range ratings. As long as they meet the ND needs then I say trust the coaches.
ND <r>I don't understand the ESPN rankings cause I'm pretty sure thats where we were without Lynch and Williams. ND jumped up in both the Rivals and Scout polls. ND could go up more on the rivals poll once the players are re-evaled which I understand is coming up and I heard Councell is going to be rated higher for sure. Also one or more of our high 4 stars may get a 5th star. <br/> <br/> I do agree with kp though, as long as we are getting quality players that meet NDs needs I'm not that concerned and we ARE getting a lot of quality players that DEFIANTLY fit our needs. <E>8)</E></r>
LYNCH <t>another quote from A. Lynch's Mom regarding FSU:<br/> <br/> Why was Florida State immediately eliminated from consideration following Lynch’s de-commitment from the Seminoles?<br/> <br/> “No comment on that,” Alice said. “No comment.” <br/> <br/> They must have really pissed that lady off!<br/> <br/> Good job FSU. [/quote]</t>
kp I do agree with you in the end it's the product on the field and in reality we have no choice other than to trust the coaches.
Troy Niklas to USC. Some are saying that fills their class and no room for Amir Carlisle...maybe he can do some dinner theatre in South Bend to help him prepare for an acting career.
