Thanks to the tribe for dusting the Royals last night. Despite the lack of respect for the Royals by some on this board, they've given the Tigers fits coming down the stretch.

Looks like it will be the Giants and Pirates in the 1 game set for the right to face the Nationals while the Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals will square off in the other divisional series. Lot of History between the Dodgers and Cardinals.

Went to the Reds-Brewers game today in Cincy. Saw the Reds eliminate the Brewers via Brandon Phillips' 3-run HR. Beautiful day for baseball. Had a great time.

Yogi just grabbed his chest DOC!!....Cards only up 1 game with 3 games to go...Bucs playing lights out....they've got Cincy in Cincy....we've got DBacks in Phoenix....

With the 1 game playoff for the WC....what happens if STL and the Bucs tie in the regular season? Do they go head to head for the season, or is there another 1 game playoff?

Well we finish against the Dbacks who have a horrible winning record at home and they finish against the Reds who are actually over .500 at home.

So we sweep the Dbacks and game over.

Cards get 1 from Dbacks, Pirates take the Reds....still 1 game. If we keep winnng it doesn't matter.

Both ALC and NLC...down to the wire.

Two games left and Tribe was still alive...barely. One hour later Oakland won and cut the thread.

Reds did their job today (Thank you Cincy), now the Cards and Lynn must do theirs tonight in Phoenix.

This last minute stuff is gonna be the death of me.

Congrats to Astros Jose Altuve how won the AL Batting Title today, insisting that he play and take his chances rather than sit out in an attempt to protect his lead over Martinez. He went 2-4 and Martinez 0-3. So he won it where he should ...on the field.

So the Cards now, they really shouldn't pitch Wainwright tonight like they had originally planned right?

I'm surprised there is no comment on the Astros hiring a new manager. He's the guy who is gong to take us to that predicted 2017 WS.

Terry, I saw that a few days ago and thought about posting, but I knew you were preoccupied with the Cardinals and the Baylor-Texas game and probably wouldn't notice.
