Kluber out with fractured ulna from a line drive. Might be back by August at earliest.

Dodgers are in San Diego tonight. The Padres may be the 2nd best team out here...
AJ Pollock is out with elbow surgery again. This is actually good news. He was batting .225 and his replacement in CF is our phenom of the year. Alex Verdugo is our fastest player and he's a former pitcher who's throws from the outfield are clocked in the mid-90's. His current BA is .342 with a SLG of .616...

Tough blow for the Tribe. Minn just polished off the Astros and might be the team to beat in the ALC. Face the Yankees this weekend. Their pitching was great in the Astros series

Hey AJ! What do you have to say about the Cub's weekend SWEEP of the Cardinals? I'm listening. :D
Truthfully,it's a long season. The Cards will be in the mix, and you'll have a chance to come back at me before it's over.

Tribe has scored one run in the last 27 innings. Wouldn't matter if they DID have Kluber and Clevenger.

Yankees have a brewing problem. Their second team is playing .600 ball and hanging around first. Exciting baseball, strikeouts are way down, defense is much better, team speed has increased as well. They have Hicks coming back and eventually Judge, Gregorius, Stanton. I can see the momentum changing immediately as the team slows down, has more fruitless outs and the defense suffers.

Mike Fiers throws 131 pitches in no hitting the Reds last night. Nobody has thrown that many pitches in a no hitter since Mike Fiers himself did it as an Astro vs the Dodgers in 2015 and threw 134 pitches. He's also got the highest ERA of any pitcher to ever throw a no hitter.

The Sox got off to a horrendous start, but it's a long season. Chasing the Yankees always sets the bar high and there's little room for excuses. Still, there's something that tells me this team need a shake up trade to get things going.

Madison Bumgarner I guess is going to be on the open market between now and Jul 31st. I'm not sure of what the strategy is for him telling the Giants he can be traded to any of the MLB teams without asking except the Braves, Cubs, Red Sox, Astros, Yankees, Brewers, Phillies and Cardinals.

If that SOB wants to be traded to the Dodgers, he can forget it. We just fumigated our clubhouse and we don't want trouble. He belongs in Frisco, it's his kind of town.

BTW- Cody Bellinger is batting .407 after 43 games. The last Dodger to do that was Jackie Robinson back in the 1940's...

I wouldn't mind seeing him in an Astros uniform for the 2nd half of the season. Just as long as we don't give away Forrest Whitley to get him.

Reading about that Dodger pitcher who was arrested on a domestic violence charge, makes me think about our own guy, Roberto Osuna, who was in that pickle last year. Nobody talks about that anymore. He was this close to going to jail, then his girlfriend disappeared in Mexico and wouldn't/couldn't be found to testify and so it all went away. Now he's a model citizen. I hope she got some money and he's learned his lesson and will continue to be a model citizen.
