Thanks guys! Been awhile since I could relax after the top of the first....matter of fact....never done it....kinda cool.... Re: Acuna....he"ll learn....friggin rookies.... Re: Foreman....have him call me Ralph....
Gotta be honest...pulling for Nats just for HFA.....but would rather play LA......because....IN ORDER TO BE THE BEST....YOU HAVE TO BEAT THE BEST......WOOOOOOOOOOO!!! ....Rick Flair.....played by Christian Peter....
COACH!!...Honestly....I feel for ya....honestly....but no woories....we'll make things NL right when we beat the Ray's or Stros in the series....
AJ, I just saw this thread. I posted my apology to you in the other thread. If the Braves management knew who their real best pitcher was, this is a different series. Instead, they are going home. I think there needs to be an award for mind-boggling post-season futility and that award should be named for Dave Roberts until he proves otherwise.
None needed dude....I'm just chest thumpin as usual....but I honestly feel bad for Your dad and other Dodger fans....has to be beyond frustrating
I'm just crushed for them. Honestly, if they want to play with the big dogs of the American League, then they should pull a power move and hire Maddon out from underneath the Angels. It's cold blooded, but it's the business. George F Will didn't write a book called "Men at Friends' Camp," it's flipping "Men at Work" for a reason.
OK Corey is it Dave Roberts or Bobby Cox who had so many chances but didn't get it done...I guess you have to give Cox that 1 WS championship though.
Congrats AJ! And “I feel your pain” message to the O’Connors. I went to bed early last night when the Dodgers were ahead and was stunned that they lost. Jo’Co and Corey predicted that the Nats were a dangerous team in a short series with Scherzer, Strassburg, and Corbin.
Terry, Roberts all the way. While Cox had one of the great pitching lineups in the history of the game, he never had any sort of offense/defense like the Dodgers put on the field this year. Not even in their World Series year. I will say this about the Dodgers, they wound up missing Verdugo more than people are talking about. If he's in the lineup, it's a different ball game. He protected, as a rookie, big bats in the lineup. He runs like a deer and has a cannon for an arm. If Verdugo is in the OF, Pollock (who had an atrocious postseason) is on the bench and Tayor/Hernandez are at 2B while Muncy stays at first using Freese as a first man off the bench weapon in key roles. The lack of Verdugo led to some lineup shuffling that just never worked.
