Indians catch the Twins after being down 11.5 games on June 3. Brand new race.

The Twinkies have lived by the long ball and if they don't get it, they die by it.

Momentum counts in baseball. Watch out for Cleveland. Watch out for Yasiel too. He's been in the last two World Series and he will do well in the pennant race. He's crazy, but he's talented.

Another Tavern league game tonight at Camden Yard. Astros 23 runs, 25 hits. Yordan Alvarez with 3 bombs including a grand slam. A couple of them ended up in Boogs BBQ. O's finish with a position player lobbing 50 mph pitches.

Maybe they (Baltimore) should rename to the Rats?

Nice picture, AJ!...I've never been to Target Field. Tribe took three of four from the Twins. It doesn't get any easier...next 7 games are against Boston at home and Yankees away. Not many days off this time of year.

Astros and Yankees tied at 77-41 for the best record in the AL, 44 games left. I think the team with the home field advantage in the playoffs will have a huge advantage.

I think the Astros should have saved a few of those runs against the O's

Little payback from Rio Ruiz who was the Astros 4th round draft pick out of USC in 2012. He never made it to the big club and was traded to the Braves for Evan Gattis. The O's have more than a couple of former Astros, including the last Astro to steal home, Villar.

Baltimore had to play the Yankees, the Astros and now the Yankees again.

Greinke on tap tonight in Chicago. Hope we have a better outing tonight than we did in his first start.

What? A real double header today in Chicago? Rainout of yesterday's game between the Sox/Astros caused them to decide to play 2 today. Don't see many double headers anymore.

there's been a few day/night doubleheaders, but you guys are playing back to back? Sounds like a good day to take the day off.

Has to be tough on the bullpens, esp if the first game gets to the bullpen early and a lot of the guys are used up before the second game.

I'm sure they have gone away for money reasons, lost revenue when fans get 2 games for the price of one! Day/Night Double Headers have gone away as well.
