Meyer to ND. Meyer not to ND. That is the question.

Even Hitler had interest in the ND coaching situation.

It was nuked because you never changed that it was the whole article, actually 2 whole articles. You have to post at most no more than 25% of the article and link to the whole article. You never did that.

In the future I'll paraphrase. Seems like a lot less work.

Meyer had this to say yesterday.
It was from a GatorCountry Insider report and there was also a link to a Rivals article that I can't locate right now.

But I think he's pretty clear.

Sounds like Nick Saban. You better look out. Urban, if you're listening, please refer to my post above about why Notre Dame is a much better job than Florida. Thank you.

Bill, that's what he should have been saying all along. I don't know why he went down that road with the ND question. I know he was asked by reporters, who no doubt have an agenda, but if he had just answered that he was extremely happy at Flordia and didn't plan on ever seeking another job or something like that. I doubt if his wife would appreciate if he answered a question about his current marriage by talking about that girl he dated in college who he always wanted to marry!!

IMO, Meyer likes to play games .... good or bad ..... with everyone. I wouldn't be surprised that his comments on Miami radio were intentional ..... to elicit certain responses from different "folks".

I can't disagree with you Terry.

But if he told his existing wife that his ex was his dream woman but she was the best woman I wonder where that might lead.

    To a divorce?

That quote was what they showed on the local news last night. It was from question time after a practice.

I was getting a giggle out of the 'Our staff have given our lives to Florida football and wouldn't do that if they didn't plan on being there a long time.' Right, like Mullen?

Sounded like a typical coach evasive non-answer. But who cares. I hope he stays and believe he plans to. But if he doesn't, he's free to do whatever he wants. He didn't sign in blood that he would be the Florida coach for life.

    Aquila,
I hear you about Saban but I have to defend Meyer in this one. If the reporters keep asking the same question they will finally get an answer they can really use. If the coach answers truthfully, then he will be crucified, so he lies. I'll bet that Meyer will never again tell a reporter that he grew up being a Notre Dame supporter and dreaming of coaching there someday. Burn me once.....

Worn out topic that this guy won't let go, like a dog with a bone. Meyer was ill advised to make those statements, and he has taken a different tack one that he should have done in the first place. However I dooubt all of this has any impact on the game, those players want to win.

Bianchi is an equal opportunity jabber.

Some people find him humorous, I got tired of him a long time ago. He has no insider information and he's writing to get attention.

Did I say he's a Gator, that is at least where he went to school.

Mikey will do anything for attention.

Did the Gators really spend 30 million remodling the football offices? Those must be some really, really, really fine offices! :)
