Merry Christmas to all of my Skybox members and their families. If you are traveling be safe and take your time.
Merry Christmas to everyone and I certainly hope 2025 is a better year. My wife was diagnosed with lymphoma in early July. The chemotherapy weakened her immune system to the point that she contracted pneumocystis in late October and remains hospitalized. Fortunately it looks the pneumonia has resolved and she will soon be transferred to a rehabilitation facility to regain mobility and strength and complete her chemotherapy. Definitely looking forward better health for her in 2025.
Certainly sorry to hear that kind of news Bobda, hopefully things will continue to improve for both of you!
Bobda, I've been there. I know you as a man of strong character who has embraced the 'in sickness and in health" part of your mariage vows. Godspeed as you do whatever is necessary to bring her comfort in this trying time.
So sorry to hear this Bob, as Sid said I know you have a strong character and will do everything necessary to bring her home. Merry Christmas to all.
Just a quick note. I had been absent for a while as my wife Anne was not able to defeat lymphoma after an 8 month battle. We had a memorial service for her in her hometown in Grand Rapids in mid March that provided her the tribute she so well deserved. I will now be posting again regularly and am sure you understand the reasons for my brief abscence.
Bob, I'm very sorry for your loss. Would you mind texting me your email address? My cell phone number is 317-871-4163. If not, I understand. I want to send you a message not for public consumption.
