Oh yeah, great win by Bubba he answered the bell and it was critical that he answer those birdies that Speith made on the par 3's. I think if Bubba stays healthy and focused he can win a couple more green jackets, that course really suits his game.

On the same thought I doubt if Bubba's aerial circus can ever win at those wind blown British Opens.

Spithe wins $864,000 for coming in second. Girlfriend is pretty smart.

I was just kidding of course about the girlfriend being smart!

BTW: Regarding Rickie Fowler. Fowler has to have the worst fashion consultant since Jasper Pernevick. He went from Prince Valient look with the over size hat and loud clothes...to the bowl haircut where the hat fits down over his ears and even worse looking golf attire.

    Agree re: Ricky Fowler.

Not surprised at the TT reference. I knew either Terry or Scott would say something.

What did you guys think of Bubba's decision to go for the green through an opening in the tree's on 15? I think if AJ was his caddy he'd have refused to give him a club until he agreed to chip out. But then none of us can play "Bubba" Golf.

I hadn't really thought that Augusta set up well for lefty's, but with 6 out of the last 12 being lefty's and Bubba's towering power fades on the par fives he clearly has an advantage. I'm always amazed at how many top player prefer to hit a fade, every lesson I've ever taken the guy spent the whole lesson trying to get me to hit a draw and now that I can hit a draw (sometimes) but mostly a very baby draw/straight ball I can no longer slice/fade the ball like I used to...I wonder if I wasted all those lessons learning to get rid of that stroke? :)

Whats wrong with The Awful House?

I never knew Bubba's wife was an ex WNBA Player. She can stand head to toe and look him right in the eye!

2 things I can think of right off about fades. 1. as Lee Travino said "you can talk to a fade but a hook just won't listen." Bad fades aren't as bad as bad hooks.
Also, when you're playing on hard fast greens you want the ball to land as softly as possible. Fades fly higher and land softer than hooks.
Jack was a left to right player. He had some success in the Majors. :D

I want my money back!!! Those pro's should have been working with me to get my slice tamed down to a gentle fade! :)

You hit it, you find it, you hit it again.

Oh yeah, swing hard in case you do hit it.

That was Harvey Pennicks advice in the little red book....Swing hard in case you hit it!! :)

Colin Montgomery says never swing more than about 80-90%, smooth and easy is the word. :)
