Tennessee handled LSU in the second half last night... oops, make that this afternoon. One more day in Ireland.

We did not play well according to our announcers (Listened on the Vol Network over the internet). Looking at the final stats, they were actually sugar coating it. We will need to step back into our game to be able to make it past Ole Miss in the next game. One down, three to go.

Rumours starting that Mark Turgeon is leaving A&M for Phil Knights money and Oregon? What are you hearing Scott?

Texas sucked again last night. Rick Barnes probably just wishes the season would be over...and it is likely only 1 more game for him....another embarassing loss.

The SEC East looked good yesterday except for South Carolina. Bama eliminated them. Tennessee beat LSU, Florida beat Auburn, and Georgia beat Arkansas.

    Today's games:

Alabama travels to Kentucky at 13:00 Eastern
Tennessee travels to Ole Miss at 15:15 Eastern
Florida travels to Mississippi State 19:30 Eastern
Georgia travels to Vandy at 21:45 Eastern

Turgeon's wife said all the Oregon talk is "malarky", and they aren't going anywhere.

    :p

The Aggies draw Kansas tonight, which will be an even tougher nut to crack since we'll probably be without the services of our best defensive guard (who shut down Collins in CS).

Oh well... we'll see what happens.

Yesterday (opening rounds) were played in Nashville like Sid said. Now they are on campus as stated in today's schedule mentioned earlier.

Why would they start in Nashville and then move to campus?? Nobody else does that.

The four campus schools did not have to play first round. Second round moved to the court of the #1 and #2 teams in both the East and West.

Bama is holding tight in the fight with Kentucky with only two points separating them with a little over 12 minutes left.

Another so so game by Tennessee has #3 in the East knocking off #2 in the West by a score of 76 to 65. Tennessee moves on to meet Kentucky in the Semi Final. Two down... Two to go.

My guys are not using up energy... that's what brought up the "so so" comment. They look like they are just mailing it in. That will get them beat against Kentucky in the next game. Something needs to wake up the shooters. We won against Ole Miss because they were shooting worse than we were. Last I remember, they were just under 50% from the foul line.

Shutting down to go to the airport. By the time we land in Atlanta, the Kentucky game will be half over. Go Vols!
