I'll have you know... (index finger waving and head bobbing with slightly slurred speach)

I'm in the Dublin area, Maynooth to be exact. When in Ireland, do as the Irish do. By the end of the first half I fell off me bar stool. I woke up and the second half had started. Dang if I didn't fall off me bar stool at the buzzer. It was a grand ole two games! hic! 8)

Good to see Tom is enjoying "life"... :p

Latest ESPN bracketology has the Irish in as an 11 seed... facing the Aggies in the first round.
    :D

The Aggies finished off the season with a win at OU that guarantees us a bye in the conference tourney.

My lads are on a nice roll heading into the dance.

Irish finished with an OT win on the road vs Marquette. Excellent win and Luke Harangody played 11 minutes which is also a good thing. Now for a win or 2 in the BE tourney and we might actually get in the NCAA's.

I think the biggest reason we have a chance this year is that the PAC10 is really down and may get only 1 or 2 at the most bids, that opens up a few for teams down on the bubble.

Tennessee finished with, at least for me, a surprising 16 point victory over the western division top team on their home court. That should give us a little momentum going into the SEC Tourney. 23 regular season wins is nothing to sneeze at.

Take them long through the NCAA tourney Bruce.

Looks like this years tournament should be a great one. No real clear cut team in my opinion, which makes the tournament that much more interesting to watch.

A number of good teams with a break here and there could win it all, including my Buckeyes.

On another note, the Lady Vols won the SEC Women's Tourney last night. I was in and out during the game but saw the final few seconds. Kentucky women are strong and will go far in the NCAA. Nobody has anything for UCONN though. There is an old Nascar saying:
That describes everyone else with UCONN about to put them a lap down.

Gators lost our last three conference games to finish 9 - 7 in the conference and 20-11 over all. We finished 4th in the East but won all 6 games with the Western conference.

We are on the bubble right now and I think we need at least one win in the SEC tourney. We open with Auburn and if we win that will play Miss State.

    Bill,

You played a hard game with Kentucky! I was surprised that you were able to hang in there for the duration of the game.

    Bill,

Mississippi State is not as good as advertised. We handled them easily on their turf. I thought they were better and was worried we would lose that game.

    FYI ND guys...

The Dancecard now has you several slots above the bursting bubble line with a 55% chance of making the cut.

Much better than the 10% you had a week ago.

Hopefully we'll win at least 1 game in the Big East tourney, that might do it if we win 2 games then it's a lock.

My daily Sporting News email publication predicts ND and Syracuse in the final game of the BE tournament with Cuse winning. That's an awfully tall order for ND, but it would be cool if we could pull it off

Really? ND is currently playing very well and has beaten two top 25 teams but I can't see them getting all the way to the Big East final. But then that's why we play the games!!

Well Irish take down Seton Hall tonight and Luke Harangody had an All-American night coming off the bench. Next up Pitt in the Semi-Finals, we beat them at home the last time we played. So maybe we can make it to the Finals.

Doc, we play Pitt in the quarter finals. If we beat them we get WVa (probably) in the semis.
