Meanwhile, in North Korea, helpless schoolchildren are forced to participate in brutal propaganda drills.

In Michigan, couples marry in churches or at the courthouse. In Columbus, a different story:

But, I don't think Coach Tressel is all that worried about the ferocity of our defense

Bush II was still in his first term, the Terminator just elected Gov in Cali, Saddam Hussein was still on the loose, the unemployment rate stood at 6% and the Dow Jones was 9,628....

Finally game day is here, a week later than previous seasons. Typical Columbus weather for this time of the year, overcast skys, and mid 30s.

    Go Bucks!

Solid win for the Buckeyes. It would have been interesting if UM had been able to punch in those scores in the 1st qtr but they didn't.

Also I have to say the ref who tossed those 2 celebration penalities after Buckeye TD's should be fired, those were terrible! That whole rule just needs to be changed.

    Terry,

    Terry,

On those uniforms were designed by Nike and only for this game to commeorate the 1942 National Championship team.

Unfortunatly the logo on the gloves, when put together to show the Block O were the cause of the two penalties. The officials were not forwarned and the players thought it was a real neat idea!

How do you like those apples!

Why is the block O a celebration penalty? By the way Nick Fairly of Auburn got called for a celebration penalty in the Auburn/Alabama game that was total BS. This penalty needs to go. The refs have too much discretion and they apply in unevenly routinely. :x

    kp,

    The officials considered it taunting!
