The Michigan football team has been cleared for limited workouts, according to a school spokesman, and a source told ESPN that the Wolverines are planning to practice in some capacity Monday.

Michigan paused all in-person team activities last week due to a rise in COVID-19 cases and canceled its game against Maryland originally scheduled for Dec. 5. A decision on whether Michigan will play its game against Ohio State this weekend has not been made, and although Monday's news is a step forward, a source told ESPN that it does not guarantee the game will be played as planned.

With Harbaugh's extension it should give stripehead nation great confidence knowing that the program remains in good hands

Big 10 reportedly is going to meet to decide if they lower the min # of games to 5, which would allow Ohio State to play for the Big 10 Championship. They did beat IU fair and square and it's not their fault that they've ended up with 5 games and IU will meet the min easily and with the Purdue game this weekend will finish with 8 games. The ESPNU guys said that they felt it was unfair to set standard at the start of the season and then move the standard to accommodate a team ( in this case Ohio State).

Is there a Big 10 team not playing this Saturday that could do a quick turnaround and play Ohio State like BYU did to play Coastal Carolina?

I am an IU fan. However, I believe Ohio State should be allowed to play in the B10 championship game, and, if they win, in the 4-team playoff. They are unbeaten and have earned it. Like Terry said, it's not their fault that they've played only 5 games.

Well I have a beef with it. Not with Ohio St, but with the BIG.
They didn't want their teams to play, but when other kids didn't follow their lead, they decided to jump in late. They came up with such stringent rules that it was almost guaranteed to cause a situation like this.
Now when their marquis program could get left out they are willing to rewrite the rules to accommodate?
    Talk about sketchy.
It's very likely the Bucks are one of the 4 best teams... but I don't think 5 games proves it.

I do have an idea to fix this: the Aggies are at home right now with nothing to do on Saturday.
Send the Buckeyes down to Kyle Field.
    :D
