Ohio killed us with short crossing patterns that first drive. They definetly studied how Indiana attacked us.
Running a Lloyd Carr dink and dunk offense and putting no pressure on Haskins is not a recipe for success.
Michigan better do something because they're getting bushwhacked right now. Where the hell has this Ohio State team been?
That fumbled free catch will not help Urban's health. We are incredibly fortunate to be this close at the half.
If you could just stop them from scoring, you'd be onto something. Watching Brown's defense trying to defend those crossing routes reminds me of Jon Tenuta's stubborn refusal to do anything else on defense when he was at ND.
The only question is whether Urban will put 60 on the board. Complete and total ass kicking. M boards were cocky about this game all week. Now they want to fire everyone.
Well, the wheels came off the wagon and they just didn't expect it. **** happens. Things are never as bad as they seem. Chin up, you'll likely smoke your bowl opponent. BTW, Fox is campaigning hard for Ohio State to replace Michigan. What an absolute joke.
Corey, given that M was 1-13 against OSU since 2004, I was surprised our fan base thought we were going to roll over Ohio in Columbus. I think they are having another Charlie Brown-Lucy moment.
Don, Stu, and Terry, Congrats yet once again on a great and totally dominant performance. We were out talented, outplayed, and out-coached.
Like just about everyone else, didn't see that coming. What happened to Brown's defense? That was so dominant the even Woody would have taken a knee at the end.....maybe.
I didn't see that coming either. I thought it would be a low scoring game. Congrats to our Buckeye fans. Like Kes, this sucks for Bobda.
I watched the game and still can not believe what I witnessed! As you can see from my prediction in the contest, I thought Michigan would slaughter us this time around. College football is very unpredictable!
Nah....Urban is soft. Woody would have chucked it into the endzone 4 times and gone for two! No doubt. The hatred was that true and pure. I expected them to play well at home. I didn't expect the M defense to be so stubborn as to continue to play to our strengths even after it became clear they didn't match up well on the outside. Buckeye interior controlled the line of scrimmage better than expected on both sides of the ball. This one goes to Urban and his staff.....job well done.
Thanks, Bobda, maybe next year? Still puzzled why we look so bad some games and then play like we did today.
Don, I think the pre season turmoil and the loss of Bosa probably hurt OSU's ability to develop a cohesive team. But, playing your biggest rival with a BT title and possible playoff berth at stake finally got everyone to get on the same page and play to their potential. Also, it was clear that your OC scouted us well. He had the weapons to exploit our weak spots and used them to near perfection.
