The Mad Hatter almost blew another one. He's the worst clock manager I've ever seen. He had 28 seconds and two downs to do something and in the end, they didn't even get one play run right. Wow. What a tough loss for the Vols...
Wow. I turned the channel back to the other game, on the phone with Scott, retelling the last four plays that led to the demise of LSU. To see the replay, I switched back a few minutes later and WTF?!?!?!? They were replaying that down? I didn't see a flag when I was watching and yes, there were too many men on the field but NO WAY were there not ALSO too many for LSU, as well as illegal shifts. You were robbed, Tom & Cindy.
The last time before this that I was robbed, the perp was held a gun point until the police arrived. What were the names of this referee crew again? :?
My only question: Was there a flag dropped DURING the play??? If so... then it's legit. You can't end a game with a defensive penalty. Even if they offset - you have to replay the down. If this was some kind of replay BS, then I'd be beyond furious. I SO wanted Loser State to fall... especially because it would have been due to Lies Miles ineptness!!
Lou Holtz sided with Tenn saying that if the offense is running on and off in confusion then the refs have to give the defense time to get set. But maybe the problem with that is that the clock was almost done. I cannot understand in the least how LSU could have been in a legit formation with the right number of guys and not moving around at the snap.
I'm sure everybody want's to know what the Hat said after the game! <object width="470.0" height="402.0" align="middle" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0" id="movie1286210929017"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><param name="movie" value="http://tribeca.vidavee.com/advance/vidavee/playerv3/vFlasher_debug.swf/p19=movie1286210929017&d=D1D8611876A3FE5B43E9155B8D623C60&"><param name="quality" value="high"><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff"> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"> <embed allowscriptaccess="always" wmode="transparent" width="470.0" height="402.0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" quality="high" name="movie1286210929017" src="http://tribeca.vidavee.com/advance/vidavee/playerv3/vFlasher_debug.swf/p19=movie1286210929017&d=D1D8611876A3FE5B43E9155B8D623C60&" allowFullScreen="true"></embed> </object>
