Thanks, Bobda. That was real warm and fuzzy.

Sorry, Sid, just a symptom from a long week at work and Friday's ice storm heralding the start of another friggen five-month Michigan winter.

8:40 AM on a Saturday morning is probably too early to start drinking so I'll go out and shovel snow as a constructive outlet for my frustration. On second thought, maybe it isn't that early....

I'll be the only Gator in Burdick's Sports bar in K-zoo today Bobda.

Come on down from GR and watch some SC-UCLA and Fla-Ark.....

but it's a long drive back to GR after drinkin..

I'm staying at the Radisson because my son's new band is playing at Papa Pete's and they're recording for a new website so it should be pretty good.

It's a short walk from the Radisson to Pete's so I'm revving up my drinking capacity. Should be pretty insensitive to what happened in UF-Ark
    by then!

Hey I look at it this way. If we'd won the game, many ND fans would have been hoping for a shot at the Championship game. Wasn't going to happen but it would have given the talking heads even more ammo to badmouth ND. If we won, we were going to a BCS bowl. If we lost, we'll we're probably going to a BCS bowl. Not much difference from my point of view. The ones who got hosed are the ones who held their noses and were actually pulling for ND. You know who you are.

Gotcha! You are just like me.....able to stick the needle in when you have the opportunity but sensitive enough to not want to hurt anyone's feelings....too much. No problem, Bobda. You're one of the good guys.

Gip, very good analysis. You should replace Mark May on ESPN.

I can think of worse things than having to play for foil for Lou.

Bobda one of the good guys???? He single handedly took down the Tyrone Willingham regime at ND by passing the evil BobbleHead Bo (RIP) into our sphere!! Hah!

    MCG,

Thanks for the invite but some of my wife's family are coming to our house tonight. Ice storms and in-laws...a sign signaling that the Holidays are near much like buzzards circling over a man lost in desert are a sign that the end of that man's journey is near.

Seriously, I do hope I get a chance to meet you for a beer down the road just to thank you for the energy and life you bring to this board.

I've stayed at the Kalamazoo Radisson. The rooms on the concierge level are kinda small for a Radisson but they had good apps and Bell's in bottles in the host lounge. Three of us went through a case of amber before spending a summer evening in Kalamazoo/Bell's beer garden.
