I think I did read that Urban Meyer has banned OSU football players from having Twitter Accounts or at the very least from "tweeting".

re: Blue & Gold Illustrated reactions

Alcohol may be a factor in some of these reactions. That's just a wild guess on my part...

I think they were only banned from tweeting about team matters.

He reserved the right to ban all tweeting later.

Meanwhile, on Blue-Gold Illustrated, the readers have tracked this kid down once again on Twitter. He's back on under another name and they have started a "Tweet Yuri Wright and Show him some Love" movement. These are grown men who are tweeting this punk begging him to come to South Bend.

On another topic on BGI they are taking a poll of how many readers will be calling out sick on National Signing Day to follow the sign ups. I think they are up to about 30 "men" who at least claim they will be cutting work.

You can't make this kind of nonsense up.

p.s. I cancelled my subscription to Blue-Gold Illustrated yesterday. The final straw came when JoePa passed away withing three hours there were three pages of BB entries ripping him.

The hypocrisy on that site is overwhelming and I cannot be a part of it.

Way to go, George. You can't stop it, but you don't have to put up with it.

I think the whole posting on BB's have changed and not for the better.

Gator Country has problems but I would give the staff credit for controlling a lot of it. However it is almost impossible to control a lot all of the negative nellies and the whiners.

However I didn't see a great amount of really negative comments about Joe Pa after his death. Then again I stay away from the free boards completely. The paid ones have enough negativity.

As far as this kid, I only hope he doesn't go to Florida. On the other side of the coin I also think there might be a whole lot more of his type out there than we know about and didn't know about prior to all the social media.

When this kids twitter came up on Inside Texas one of the members pointed out that one of our recruits was tweeting stuff almost as bad.

Also with JoePa there has been a split between very negative posts about Joe and positive posts.

Twitter got Yuri Wright expelled from Don Bosco, the derision of a ton of people, and lost scholarship opportunities to Michigan specifically as UM coach Brady Hoke found out what he was writing and said he wasn't welcome at UM.

Well somebody decided to research other athletes that Hoke did offer and did sign with UM. It's pretty much the same as Yuri Wright for a lot of these kids apparently. I doubt if Hoke knew or could have afforded to drop all these kids even if he knew.

It's more than just Yuri Wright Warning, like Wrights tweets these Michigan soon to be freshmen are very sexual and racial.

Notre Dame is next up in the series and I expect we Irish fans are going to be embarassed by the tweets of some of our new players.

    TK,

Are Skyboxers eligble for a discount on dental implants?

As for the tweets, I guess our College of Kinesiology will be opening its doors this Fall to a bumper crop of new scholar athletes.
