Just want to say hi

Kind of difficult for me to stay on BB's since my concussion. I can't get my two eyes to function well together and have to wear a patch alternately between the two eyes. I'm told that should clear up but not for awhile.

Have to admit though that I am lucky to be alive. We will travel to Florida with our son and his fife to be with family next weekend to celebrate my wife's 80th birthday. Wanted to give her a big party like she gave me but this is the way she wanted it.

Any way even typing this short note is a pain at this point. Make more errors in a short post than I used to make in several longer ones.

Good to hear from you Bill, you are indeed fortunate to have survived that fall and concussion, our wishes to Jeanne for her 80th birthday as well.

 

Thanks all of you. I have never had one before and sure didn't understand the after effects and hope can avoid ever going through it again.

Seems I take a fe steps forward and a few less back. Progress is slow but happening.

Jeanne's birthday is this weekend and we will be spending about 4 days in Jacksonville then back to Raleigh and home by Next week.

 

Keep moving forward, Bill, even if it's baby steps.

Not recovered, but getting there. We return home midweek for the first time since this happened. I still have a long way to go but am making steady, but slow, progress.

 

Glad to read that you are doing better. I am hoping for Gator wins in the upcoming weeks to speed up your recovery.

Me too Bobda.... in a completely unselfish caring about Bill sort of way....

 

Sometime around nine we will leave Jacksonville for Raleigh.

According to how we feel tomorrow will either head back to Franklin either tomorrow or Wednesday, hopefully we are up to going home tomorrow. When we get home I have to get some doctor appointments to get all my information locally. Will probably have to find a couple of new doctors, but we will see how that goes.

Going to take a long time to get back to normal. The double vision has been getting better day by day. I have actually been able to use the computer today without an eye patch so far. Probably won't last all day but progress feels wonderful.

 

Baby steps Bill, glad to hear you're making some baby steps. Keep on steppin!
