Truthfully, I think the guy is a scam artist, a liar and a gratuitous self promoter. I think he and his agent decided he needed some image rehab, what do celebs do when they need this...they go to rehab, they mea culpa, they ask for privacy, etc. Then the public/media reacts when they come out of rehab like they are the prodigal son returning...it's image rehab. Oh and it comes at a time when the NFL is down a little and players have time to do this...so no biggie, I'm sure it's in a beautiful spot and he'll enjoy a stay in luxury.
Agree completely Doc. And if this doesn't work, he'll claim he was abused by his father when he was a young girl.....or guy.
Athletes like Manziel are worshipped by adults for their skills from Pop Warner to the present. Grown men and young ladies have quaked in his presence his entire useful life. People have begged him for his attention and you can bet "No" is a word he hasn't heard often. I wish well in his recovery efforts. I hope those around him can discover their self worth as well.
