Please he's not posting anymore and don't encourage him to return. Life is more pleasant without his political comment.

Waiting for CNN to post something about Trump. Until they tell him what to write, he's clueless.

There is absolutely no doubt that Joe has diminished mental capacity. There is no telling how little he actually comprehends. Under the circumstances it might not be a bad idea.

You wouldn't know it from the mainstream coverage of him.

Gipper I gave up thinking that facts, truth and honesty would ever again mean anything here on this board as it most certainly does not on conservative media. The ever present worshipping of everything Trump no matter if he shot someone on 7th avenue convinced me it is a hopeless thought to think otherwise. Like my wife has said we just don't care anymore.
Good luck winning general elections legitimately with only 40% of the vote.

BTW please don't taunt and by doing so invite Dave to return to posting. Leave him alone. Nobody agreed with him and it's best left the way it is, for all concerned.

Joe goes before the Nation, it will be interesting to see how he performs.

President Biden is expected to deliver his first primetime address since taking office on Thursday to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the COVID-19 shutdowns.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki previewed the president’s remarks during the press briefing on Monday.

"The president will deliver his first primetime address to commemorate the one year anniversary of the COVID-19 shutdown on Thursday," Psaki said. "He will discuss the many sacrifices the American people have made over the last year, and the grave loss communities and families across the country have suffered."

I'll depart with this article that highlights the new direction of the Republican party away from center and I would like to ask a parting question..... With so much of the GOP becoming radicalized and more extreme what is the general philosophy going to be to win general elections?
The numbers just will not be there if the only acceptable Republican is an extreme one.

The slew of Senate Republican retirements prove who's in charge of the GOP now - CNNPolitics

So the middle of the road Democratic Party is ready to lead for years. Defunding police, no bail for violent offenders, open borders, cancel culture, social media censorship, gender confusion, reparations, revisionist damning "history" of America , and faux elections, yeah, the moderate left is what every real American wants.

Any bets that the Presidential "address" is actually taped ahead of time to keep goofy on track?

Dave do all democrats in America follow the party line to whatever some author writes about? Do all republicans? As if it were so easy to diagnose the exact thoughts of other’s.....

I just had my sister up for 3 days from Naples, time to sell Dads house and decide what to do with his belongings. Her husband was the Union chief for the Coral Gables police, both are exceedingly far left. You know we sorta love each other, don’t agree much on politics but at the end after some long discussions decided we really aren’t that far apart. Now on the larger topics of abortion, blaming whites for basically everything and don’t worry about balancing the budget in this era there are several places we agree.

What I did realize is whatever Republican they are terrible by just their label and those who dared to vote for them are either very ignorant or lost in fake news. There seems to be the attitude to attack the opposite party from both parties first and ask questions later. And there is an unsaid distrust in social media across the board

If you guys want to continue to attempt to get Dave to respond, that's fine but don't complain about him if he jumps back in and the level of discourse goes to hell.

Clizza is a CNN hack who like you is incapable of doing a true analysis of the Republican Party.

This is about the 100th time you have said you are departing, hopefully it sticks this time as your analysis is usually so biased as to hardly be worth discussing, and you don't engage in any reasonable conversations but just love to stir the pot.

Hopefully you stick with your retirement this time.

No bet! Yesterday he was giving a brief announcement having to do with two female AF generals. He wanted to thank his Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, but could not remember his name. He did his best "Porky Pig" imitation for a few attempts before going with "The guy who runs that outfit over there".

I didn't write this but I surely agree with it
    "
You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind.
We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us.
Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.
People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.
Universities that advocate equality, discriminate against Asian-Americans in favor of African-Americans.
Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.
Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights.
People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.
After legislating gender, if a dude pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.
It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquiries about it.
People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.
Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.
Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcomed.
$5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.
If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free."
