Well I was lookin' good till OU and Louisville crapped out on me today! I can't score any more points. Gipper is sitting in the catbirds seat right now.

A quote from an email I received from my son after he attended the MSU-L'ville game in Indy:
Looks like Gip and I are the only Skyboxers who believed in the Big 10. Figures. I felt that if ND could beat Louisvile by 30+ points late in the season, surely MSU had a good chance. Even if Nova beats UNC and MSU gets to the final game, I can't beat Gip. My only hope is to finish a close second.

    Go Spartans! Go Nova!

Sid (and Gip)...good call on the B10...I plead guilty as charged.

In the past 11 years, this year included, only one conference has had 5 different teams get into the Final Four (B10)

Only two conferences have had 10 total Final Four appearances (B10 and ACC)

Next are the B12 and the recently annointed Big East (6 Final Four appearances, including this year).

Interesting stat Stu. In fact, in the last 11 yrs. of the 10 Final Four appearances by the B10, 5 have been by MSU. Seems like the only ones who deny that the Spartans are an elite program are Mich. fans. :D

I have always liked their program. I am a big fan of Tom Izzo and I was of Judd Heathcote as well.

Painter looks like he has your Boilermakers on the right track. I'd be suprised if Purdue isn't back to where they were in the heydey of Coach Combover! :)

Yeah...Painter's a gym rat and a good recruiter and a good guy. I was thrilled when they brought him back.
