Time to step back from my griping about seeding, and remember that there are 63 other teams in this thing, and they're all glad to be there.

I checked up on the Aggie's first opponent, Binghampton U from New York.
Check out how they got to the champ game of their league.
I doubt they will ever forget that game!
(jump ahead to the 1:30 mark to see the comeback)

Oh man that was fun to watch and terrible for the losing team....Yes it is a reminder that 63 other teams are estatic to be playing the tournament....

Good stuff Scott we play Stetson university (In-between Orlando and Daytona) who we played in March, we have played them 156 times over the years according to the press release so they are a known quantity and capable of beating you. Long Beach St and Fla Atlantic (ranked 18 ) are also on tap so it could be interesting...

    Let the games begin.....

We all have to admit that Augie ruled the roost in his day...It won't take long Terry before they are back...

I guess this isn't the time to say that Miami has extended its record of making the regional tournament to 44 years is it??? :p

    Scott,

Neat video on your first opponent, I did not see very many fans in the stands?

Ralph, 44 straight years in the regionals? You have to be kidding. That is an amazing record.

Terry, I never realized the ACC was so strong in baseball.

Our only claim to fame was our 1966 NCAA title. We are due!

If I were the Pac12 commish I'd be burning hot at Lubbock being the farthest west Regional. There are 11 teams out west in the NCAA tourney.

Ohio State will face in-state Wright State at 2:00 this afternoon in the Louisville Regional. Both squads have won over 40 games each so that will be a stiff test in itself.

Being placed in the Louisville Regional with the host team being a #2 overall seed is a tough nut to crack early on. Hopefully, we can be competitive and win a couple of games?

Vanderbilt pitcher Donny Everett drowned yesterday in a Tenn lake. What a tragedy, he was a very highly rated pitcher.

    Terry,

Such tragic news for anyone at that age. When you are young, you tend to think you are invincible!

The story is esp sad in that his friends saw him struggling and thought he was goofing around, one went into try to help and of course that guy was a weak swimmer and he also thought he was just goofing around.

Buckeyes scored two runs in the bottom of the 9th to seal a 7-6 win over Wright State. Now we probably will get a crack at Louisville tomorrow assuming they beat Western Michigan (MAC)

    Scott,

Thanks and congratulations to you as well for your opening round win.

I did not see any real major upsets? We will see how good we are later this afternoon.

Ole Miss lost to Utah, but I think the Utes were much better than a 4 seed and the Rebs probably took them a little for granted. Do that at your peril anytime in the post season!!!

Louisville really clobbered us this afternoon 15-3. I am not sure who we end up playing tomorrow, probably Wright State.

I watched some of your game Don, sometimes it just gets away.
The Bucks just need to put it behind them and reset. Its a new day and anything can happen.

Vandy leaves the tourney early. With the circumstances I don't think anyone is really surprised. Sad times in Nashville...

Ole Miss... Bwahahaha. I have the RahRah spirit for the SEC but this is one school I don't root for. The whole AD smells to me so I figure "Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch".

SCAR cooled off at the end of the year and it appears they haven't found the spark. Wont be surprised if the exit quickly and even if they do get out of the regional they won't make Omaha.

Clemson gets whacked by OkSt. Hmmm

Looks like most of the rest are running as expected. More eliminations today.

Uh...Scott...shouldn't that be TWO schools? Can you spell LSU?
