    I saw the J. Geils Band four times. They were special. In a world concerned with being politically correct, they produced tunes like this one, "First I Look at the Purse." The band featured lead singer Peter Wolf, a Boston disk jockey turned performer and harmonica virtuoso Magic Dick...

    I saw this guy in the mid 80s' in Asbury Park. The place was packed as usual because everyone thinks Springsteen will show up and play but after a few minutes and I don't think anyone could remember Bruce's name.

    Saw J Geils Band in 1975 as a warm-up band along with Chaka Kahn and Atlanta Rhythm Section for the Rolling Stones at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville. Was 95 degrees that August day and my girlfriend at the time was looking pretty darn good in those blue jean cut offs...... :)
    Ah.... some things you just don't forget.....
