Aquila, I don't think acquitted is the right word. Charges will not be brought which in my mind is even better. Glad to hear the young man was not part of this caper.
Bill, I agree that it is better that charges were dropped. However, as a Vol fan, I am not ready to say that he was completely innocent. He made the poor decision to be out well past midnight in a car with three males and one female and the female had drugs in her possession. The eye witnesses and the surveillance video back up the fact that he remained a passenger in the car never getting out at the pilot. Did he know what the other two were going to do? Who knows. But he did not actively participate. When does Kiffin allow him back on the team? That is for Lane to decide. He waited until he could make an informed decision on the other two. He may need more time to make a complete informed decision on when to let Jackson back on the team. I applaud LK for his methodology.
Jackson back to practice I'm not certain what I think about this. I can only say that others have more information than I do and I have to go along with the decisions that were made.
On second thought, he has served a 2 game suspension to this point and the authorities have proclaimed that he did nothing wrong... not the UT Authorities, but the legal authorities of the county. I guess he was guilty of poor decision making to be out that late. I guess there is nothing to hold against him and he should be completely reinstated.
