My experience a hundred years ago in intramural football was a real eye opener. Many of the guys on my team and others were HS football stars and excellent athletes. It was very tough competition. I'm sure it's the same today. Men and ladies who were outstanding HS athletes but not college calibre find a place in intramural athletics.

That's an amazing list of opportunity for these kids. That all looks like so much fun.

They are either going to replace Temple or get shuffled to another year. This sucks.

Kudos to our women's BB team who I believe are the only team to beat the NCAA champion 3 times in their championship season. Oh yeah, they were 2-0 vs the runner up.

Dan Hicks is the new play-by-play announcer for NBC's telecasts of ND football. He replaces Tom Hammond. I know there are vocal critics of Hammond, but I always thought he was OK. I think of Hicks as the Jim Nance of NBC's golf coverage. In fact, I think his voice is similar to Nance's. He's done a few ND games in past seasons. He's married to Hannah Storm, a ND alum.

I was sort of neutral towards Hammond as well. I like Hicks and think he'll be a good replacement. But I doubt if he'll be well liked after about a year as so many ND fans want a homer at that position.

Being married to Storm I'm sure has given him a lot of inside knowledge about the Irish and maybe even though he's an Arizona grad he's become somewhat of a closet fan.

Irish pick up a good and much needed OL for the class o 2014, in Sam Mustipher from Good Counsel in Maryland. He chose the Irish over Nebraska after somebody sent him this photo of Spring Time in Lincoln. ;)

If Bowling had been an NCAA sport back in the day, Bill would have been an All-American at UF! :)

come on man, I know you can do better than that. No graphics, no sarcastic, derogatory comments that we've all come to know over the years. I know you can do it Huskerman( sorry, I have no idea what your real name is). Search the web, find those graphics, find those zingy quotes and witty comments you can use to serve your purpose. You're from Nebraska!</r>
