Corey, sounds like the ND camp is a great experience for Carson. My grandson was going to go to the Lacrosse camp with a friend of his but the other kid backed out and Patrick decided not to go. I'm looking forward to your son's report on his camp.
Corey, from one dad to another, you've got a great attitude and your priorities are sound. Carson is fortunate to have you as a role model.
Corey- Yes! Stop bad-mouthing Kelly... re: Bama- We never talk about Alabama, but you folks are a tad difficult to ignore when Corey and Carson are sitting there right in the middle of you all...
Amir <r>Good news on Amir Carlisle. He's fulled healed and ready to go! We will need him this year. <E></E></r>
We definitely need him. While I wouldn't call our team slow, he's a speed guy and we don't have enough of those.
We definitely needed speed in the slot and a back who can catch passes. Amir can do all of that and more...
Irish pickup the first player for the 2015 class...big OL from Louisiana. Jerry Tillery, 6'6" 313lbs of OL.
In non football related news....Notre Dame Ice Hockey will host Alabama (Huntsville) in the Shillelagh Tourney Nov 29th!! Payback time baby!!
Terry, It's sad, I work in Huntsville and no one, I mean no one talks about the UAH hockey team and I think they are nationally ranked. :?
My grandson in Alabama played ice hockey, but they kicked him out of the league for being too rough. They move those kids into football early down there...
I love hockey. My son loves hockey. The problem is that it's become sort of a 'niche' thing. People will go to the Havoc (the minor league team) games, but are shitty about supporting the Chargers (UAH).. If they all weren't so busy naming their kids Bear Saban McStabler, they might recognize they've got a pretty good thing going on here in Huntsville.
Irish pickup another recruit today in James Bonner an OLB from Missouri. He isn't highly ranked and his offer sheet isn't impressive beyond Mich State but he was at camp this week and the Irish coaches got to see him up close and personal...so that counts for a lot.
