The internet mitigates most of the mainstream media's best efforts to suppress news that does not suit its political agenda. Watch ABC Evening News with David Muir for a great example of censorship. 15 minutes of anti-Trump, anti-Republican stories, 3 minutes of a natural disaster somewhere that claimed lives and property. 5 minutes of horrendous crimes. 1 minute feelgood story at sign-off to get you to put the gun down and call the Suicide Hotline. 6 minutes of commercials. Never a balanced story or a report that could be construed as supportive of Trump or critical of a Liberal. And they call this guy the most trusted news person in America? He is a propagandist.
Today show has a segment about how gatherings at bars, beeches, and churches act as super spreaders. For the past two months, the show spent a great deal of time praising the mass BLM gatherings going on most cities. I guess the virus must deactivate for “social justice” protests.

I try not to opine too much on these posts, because unlike the "news", I prefer to let each of you develop your own opinion on the reporting. The "news" has freely admitted their job is to make their readers/viewers understand what things mean, rather than just pass on information. Case in point, Don Lemon stating that presenting "his truth" is his job. Well, if you are a pundit, yes, your opinion is your job. If you are a news anchor or reporter, there is no "his" truth or "her" truth, there is just "the" truth. Anyway, I do need to point out that during my upbringing, my mother taught me that if I were afraid of someone else hearing what I was saying, then it might be because I shouldn't be saying what I was saying. Although I agree children need a safe space for certain topics and growth, many teachers and professors have proved they cannot be universally trusted to handle that responsibility apolitically. And for some teachers to arrogantly think they know better what my child's upbringing and philosophy should be is catastrophically offensive. Achingly, this is a constant and scary, recurring theme.
