The state of Rhode Island announced the it is removing the name Providence Plantations because of its negative connotations.

If we are so cavalier to believe that history can be so easily erased, then doesn't it follow that the next time someone wants to hold the people of Rhode Island accountable for slavery that has been abolished for 165 years that they simply respond that there is no proof that this ever occurred? We don't remember a thing.

MLK had it backwards. We do judge by the color of our skin and not the content of our character.

From 4/24, one example of many from the Left Media twisting Trump's usage of "disinfectant" making it sound like he was talking about injecting bleach:

Trump Muses About Light as Remedy, but Also Disinfectant, Which Is Dangerous

From 4/27, Cedars-Sinai is part of commercialization efforts for a technology that "...delivers intermittent ultraviolet (UV) A light through and endotracheal catheter and according to the company, it is being studied as a potential treatment for coronavirus and other respiratory infections."

UV Light Therapy is Being Studied as COVID-19 Treatment at Cedars Sinai Hospital

From 5/7, the Left Media now recognize that sunlight/ultraviolet light can be used to disinfect surfaces, shining directly on people:

Scientists Consider Indoor Ultraviolet Light to Zap Coronavirus in the Air

Derangement will not allow any interpretation of Trump having any correct information, even when spoken carelessly. When reported by the enemy press, his words will always be twisted and reshaped in the worst possible way to shade him. The "news" is no longer facts-driven, but team- and results-driven. It would actually be hilarious how ignorant the media is in subjects to which Trump has obviously been previously informed, if tearing this country apart wasn't the end result of their team selection and efforts at inciting frothy, foamy hate.

    From the NYT:

Supreme Court Rules Trump Cannot Block Release of Financial Records

This paragraph is very disconcerting to me:
    With my emphasis:
I don't know of a single person that would disagree with the initial argument that nobody, including the president, is above the law. However, these exact words, made against a political opponent, are the standard of argument for why it is imperative the political opponents MUST have access to those records? Because they MIGHT contain something that is actionable? Not that a crime has been committed and these records are necessary to document that crime, but that a crime MIGHT be found within those documents and records?

    In reference to
wouldn't the IRS be able to state yes or no without releasing records to deranged political opponents?

I find it disheartening that the threshold for a fact finding mission has been reduced to something similar to "you may have done something illegal". If this is the threshold for a public figure, and that is the argument placed in front of the world, meaning they are not ashamed to say it in public, what hope do any of us have to our privacy anymore? What prevents any political rival, when taking an interest in something any private person has previously said or done, requesting that private person's records because it may contain information that can be used against them, either criminally or publicly to have them fired/cancelled.

And this doesn't even touch on the absolute FACT that the team-aligned media has proved they can use ANYTHING to damage an individual, whether the information ends up providing fodder for illegality, criminally actionable, or not.

Yes, continue patting me on the head and telling me "it's all above board, we are truly concerned Mr. Trump hasn't paid his taxes yet". THAT is the sole reason this has gone this far. Right.

The Supreme Court including a Trump appointee or two voted 7-2 to allow Trump's financial records to be examined by prosecutors. Have to admit in an election year that can be damaging but last I checked CNN isn't on the Supreme Court.
Remember this 11 days before the election:
The FBI is examining additional emails related to Hillary Clinton‘s use of a private email server four months after closing its investigation, the bureau’s director said in a letter to lawmakers on Friday, a surprise twist in a turbulent campaign just 11 days before election day.

In a note to congressional committee chairs, FBI director James Comey said that the FBI had discovered additional emails relevant to the investigation into Clinton’s server and agents were examining the emails to determine whether they contain classified information.

So you don't object to Clinton's malfeasance. You object that it came out before the election. I get it. What you don't get is that your type of Democratic is on the short list for extinction. The Squad and any new members they can recruit will roll through Biden like Sherman through Atlanta and old traditional Democratic fossils like Pelosi and Schumer will get trampled as well. Biden is no socialist; he is just pandering in his muddled way to lock in support. But they have no use for him or anyone like him after Jan. 21 2021.

By law, a persons tax returns are private. I guess all you have to do is have unfounded suspicions about someone and it's fishing time. Somehow Obama was allowed to keep his pathetic college grades secret. As usual no one is about the law ....except Democrats.

This was posted on the Smithsonian Institute National Museum of African American History & Culture website, and has since been remove due to "public sentiment".

The "Talking About Race" portal of the same website includes all of the same ideas in a prose in their "Whiteness" topic:

    Whiteness

LOL! Characteristic of white people’s food: “bland is best”.

Was this chart created in 1959 by someone who lived in the Midwest?

Fact checks are free of political bias, right? Although updated INCONCLUSIVE (???) USAToday originally provided a "Fact Check" of TRUE.

Fact check: Trump 2020 campaign shirt criticized for design

I do have a question, under what circumstances would an honest-to-God fact become inconclusive? The most obvious situation is when it was not a fact in the first place.

Kes, my memory may be wrong but I believe that early on the Wash. Post did a "fact check" on Trump's saying that Muslims in NJ were cheering as the World Trade Center went down. They said it wasn't true. It was found out that a news report in the Post had said just that. They fact checked themselves and proved what lying bastards they are.

According to Vernon Jones (a Democrat), the mental state of police officers is only evaluated when they are applying to the force. He suggests revisiting this evaluation periodically. This seems to be a very good, positive, productive suggestion, and a great example of what can be accomplished through civil dialogue, rather than trying to trash each other constantly.

Rather than recognize his contribution, hack job "news" channel MSNBC sends a representative to see if Vernon Jones is getting paid by the Trump campaign.

Unbelievable. If you are not all-in to the radical ideas on the Left, you must be destroyed.
