The guy who resurrected the program in Cincy is now coaching at E. Lansing. It was D'Antonio that rebuilt that program off the deck.....this guy is reaping the rewards, tho in fairness he seems to be doing a decent job.

They were long ripped for not 'moving on into the future' because Solich remained committed to the option.. At the time, most teams were going to a WCO/Spread passing game...but here just less than 10 years later, that Spread Option offense that Solich was VERY MUCH running now seems to be the trend of the day...and here we are, with Nebraska moving in the opposite direction as fast as they possibly can.<br/> <br/> I think the moment Nebraska goes back to worrying about being Nebraska, rather than following the latest trends, they will go back to being successful.</t>
