Yeah Freud may have a theory on that selection for sure Gaterz.... 8) On the USC-UF flyover actually I was there with my 9 year old at the north end of the stadium almost directly under where the planes exited. It was a huge surprise and one hell of a roar. Those guys were damned close to the top of the stadium.
LOL, we were on the 1st row of Touchdown Terrace and about fell over into the north endzone when those guys came into view. Can you believe there were letters to the (Gainesville Sun) newspaper the next week complaining about that flyover? One even went as far to say that it was inappropriate to "militarize" a major public university sporting event.
Those must be the same whiners that complained about the Blue Angels being in Gainesville's first airshow last year. They made too much noise for days when they practiced & performed ... they woke the baby from his nap ... the noise was scaring the kids ... people thought we were under attack ... blah, blah, blah. How hard is it to just go outside, look up, and be awed and entertained. The airshow is back this year, but not the Blue Angels . Awesome Youtube video, though!
I actually saw them coming when many did not and so I wasn't too surprised they were there but it was awesome how fast they got over us after I spotted them. You could visualize that if they had fired missles/bombs off from the horizon it would be only a split second before you were toast. You would barely have time to figure out what was about to happen to your crispy ass. Prett cool.
Left Right Left (left right left), Righto Righto (righto righto), a left right left (left right left) help me sing this song...... AAAhhhhhhhh!!!!......'Cause Napalm sticks to kids! Crispy little critters with a hell of a crunch, whip out my K-Bar and slice 'em for lunch, AAAhhhhhhhh, 'Cause Naplam sticks to kids!!!
