Does anyone remember that moment when everyone in the world knew DuBose had to go at Alabama except for the Alabama fans? Well, this is just like that.. no disrespect to the Buckeye Nation. I know you love this guy and he owns the Wolverettes but.. this can't be undone. This is beyond an offense meriting termination. He's gotta go.. or risk the NCAA hammer.
 KP, I'll always listen on the off chance that there is new, as yet unpublished information available. However, in my view the same old, tired arguments that get continually recycled and rejected as inadequate by the majority don't represent new and compelling info....perhaps you feel otherwise. So be it...
Yes I have and been consistent in so doing all along....yet you continue to pretend I have not for some unknown reason......curious to say the least. So be it...... Yes, scheduled today at 1:00 pm to preview spring practices set to begin Thursday. As you can imagine, speculation is running rampant.....
Rumors are that he'll step down today at his press conference. I don't believe it for a minute though.
I don't know if the speculators realize that this is not a "specially-called" presser but one that is traditional the evening prior to the beginning of spring practice. I agree with you TOK and I have nothing to go on but this quote from AD Smith at the original press conference detailing the situation and our self-imposed penalties...... Since that time, to my knowledge, nothing has come to light about which AD Smith, President Gee or the NCAA was unaware.....
Don't worry AJ, this guy next to Brian Kelly is no longer the next coach at ND, instead he's the next coach at Ohio State!
Urbs would be a natural fit....if he hadn't already coached and won big at Florida. His intensity level and subsequent health issues would not be alleviated by coaching at the horseshoe so I doubt seriously he would consider that option. .
Terry, Duron Carter transferred to a jr college in Kansas last year. A lot of talent but lazy in the classroom. He could have developed into a gifted receiver.
OK I remember that now, for some reason it just came up again on some other boards. He's supposedly heading to Alabama or some place in the South.
Gifted athlete, immature young man and lazy student.....JT gave him alot of opportunities to grow up. 2009 as a frosh, fall qtr grades weren't where they needed to be, JT kept him home from the Rose Bowl with clear message on what was expected to get out of the dog house.....winter qtr grades weren't where they needed to be, he was held out of spring practice......that wasn't enough and he had to leave.....apparently burned alot of bridges in the process and was not welcome back.....had to be very disappointing for his Dad, but also not unlike his Dad's path as a young man.
I'm not sure what you're referring to. You have been consistent, I have never pretended otherwise. You maintain an open mind on Tressel and don't maintain an open mind on matters that concern other schools. it is contradictory but consistently contradictory. Oh yeah...So be it.
I've had just about enough of this thin skinned stuff. BT is about the fairest person on these boards and he has never particularly picked on any other school or conference...unlike many of us. When B10 criticism has popped up he has criticized some aspects of Fla's schedule...not in a sarcastic scathing manner but in a "here's what it is" manner. He has criticized certain recruiting policies without picking on anybody in particular. If you disagree with him, debate him about the policy...debate the fact that the school's in question do this stuff...I don't care. But this accusing him of a double standard is about as much ******** as I have seen on these boards.
