Gerry gave us an update on Wanda while we were in Texas; She has severe Alzheimer's disease and doesn't even recognize friends and family and is not doing well. She is a good lady and a great Buckeye fan. Some of her posts got a little excited and I know she irritated some people on this board towards the end, but I believe that was the initial stages of her disease. My thoughts and prayers go out to her.
That's very sad Stu. She is very young for that type of disease. The drug industry is on the verge of some major breakthroughs in the treatment of Alzheimers. I hope she can be helped.
Aha physical therapy. Is there any physical therapy available for all the heartaches I have suffered during the last 7 PSU/UM games ? This year we are going to get you. I have it all figured out. You see the reason why PSU has been so unlucky against UM is because my wife is a fan of " The Bumble Bees". She has no idea who she is rooting for, but she likes the " Outfits". She brings bad luck when she watches the game and always good luck for Michigan. She was the reason why UM beat Notre Dame. This year we are planning a weekend trip to Atlantic City to see an Antique Show convention on 10/14. I'll make sure she has plenty of $ to keep her busy, away from TV's and oblivious to the fact that PSU is playing UM. I have even lifted my buy something, get rid of something rule, imposed upon her shopping habits. I have all bases covered. I have thoroughly prepared for this event. Michigan does not stand a chance this year !
I always liked Wanda, she was a passionate Buckeye fan and she was a big Elvis fan. But like Andy I thought she was younger, but if I remember correctly Gerry said she is in her 70's now. When she was posting for some reason I thought she was in her late 30's, and would have figured her to be under 50 right now. I was sorry when she left the Skybox and tried hard to get her to return.
