The Texas Tech game was not on TV out here. Rutgers/K-State was not televised either. Too bad. I really wanted to see those games...
Jim, Please let me know if there are any other games that you are going to miss and I will send you a DVD. That Tech come back was something that no sports fan should have missed. I don't record games if I am going to be home to watch them unles I am doing so for someone else. (I do however record all Tennessee games but Tivo tends to lose the not so successful games :? ) I need to know in advance and will be more than happy to help out a friend.
Rutgers dominated K-State from start to finish on both sides of the ball. Only a punt return for a TD kept it close in the 1st half. K-State did not pass 100 yards in offense until mid 4th quarter, which makes me wonder how the heck they ever pasted 45 on Texas. K-State needs another year or 2. Rutgers returns a pretty good nucleaus and should be pretty good again next year. Texas Tech ? Wow !! Just another choke job by Mason who played not to lose after such a huge lead. He made no adjustments to his D rushing 3 and playing soft zone coverage with 8. Tech schooled them in the 2nd half and UM deserved to lose. A better coach would have beaten Tech to a pulp with that lead.
So far, the biggest surprise to me was the FSU scoring output vs. UCLA. Considering how the Nole offense sputtered all season it was hard to believe that they ran up that many on the Bruins. You wonder just how inept little Bowden was as OC. Next biggest surprise was Ky. all over Clemson.
