BTW- it's interesting that none of these great players go to USC any more. The Trojans are currently ranked #76 in recruiting and SoCal HS stars are showing up on the rosters of places like Oregon and Utah and now Alabama and Clemson. I hope they never fire Helton...

St John Bosco beat them, it's hard to ever feel bad for Mater Dei losing. It is hard to imagine USC not getting all of the Mater Dei players considering that their HC is one of the great USC homers of all time.

Bosco is pretty bad ass taking down both Mater Dei and De La Salle.

Meanwhile in the lower divisions, there was a minor miracle. The San Gabriel Valley has gone en fuego for one of it's oldest and proudest schools. El Monte has won it's first state title...

I saw El Monte won. Did they win the CIF title or the whole state title ???? That would be absolutely shocking.
