    Well......lucky 3 rebounds at the end save the day for the struggling Pistons........they are five against one and they can't get close to 100 points.

    If they somehow pull thru on Sunday........Heat will be quite confident Detroit is a paper tiger

    Go LeBron

    Heat

    <t>It doesn't matter who wins this cavs-pistons series, (even though all of miami wants the cavs to win)<br/>
    The heat has 7 days of rest before they play one of those worn out teams, we finally have walker playing well, and almost every one is healthy. The Heat are set to got to the finals</t>

    A rested Anahiem team played the Oilers last night in game one of their series. The "rested" Ducks took gas. Rest and rust are only a letter apart.

    Well, there's an old saying

    "He who laughts last.....is probably laughing at Gonzo who can't help but shoot off his mouth early. So as the opening post said....LOL!

    It will be a pleasure to play a team that doesn't have a player that can take 4, 5, 6 steps going to the basket and never get called for traveling. It will be nice to play a team that doesn't have a player who can run over people all day without ever getting called for an offensive foul. Best of all, it will be nice not having to watch Nike commercials showing LaBron followed by highlights of La Bron.

    Gipper first congratulations, the Pistons are one tough team that don't mind playing being down in a series. That doesn't seem to bother them at all.

    But I will be rooting for the Heat in spite of some obnoxious fans on this board.

    And you do have to admit the Gonzo house hold is remarkable in their consistency. Junior predicted the Gators had less than a .0001% chance of winning the NCAA Tournement and we win both final four games by double digits. Then Senior comes on here ragging on the Pistons and giving them a 5% chance of winning. The Pistons then proceed to win in Cleveland then drup the Cavs today.

    If the Gonzo tribe predict a series win for the Heat then the Pistons are probably a lock. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

    Bill, I can understand you rooting for the Heat. Let's face it, when I left NYC 30+ yrs. ago I was a Knicks fan.

    As to the Gonzo household....well.....the empty barrel makes the most noise. And they do make the most noise.

    Time for the real playoffs to begin!

    <t>Clevland would have been too easy for us anyway<br/>
    <br/>
    Now it is time for the real playoffs to begin!<br/>
    <br/>
    Finally, how great it is a rematch with the "almighty" detroit pistons, Miami is going to be insane, the players will be lucky if they can hear the ref blow the whistle, it will be very loud!<br/>
    <br/>
    I predict that it goes to six or seven games to miami (yes you heard me MIAMI!) Have fun guarding shaq, wade, williams, and wallker. And when shaq comes off the bench who's gonna replace him, ZO!<br/>
    <br/>
    This Miami team is destined for a championship!!!<br/>
    <br/>
    LET'S GO HEAT!!!!!!!</t>

    So the Heat aren't going to roll over for the Pistons like they did during the regular season? Wow, Wade and Shaq, weren't they playing for Miami last year when the Pistons took them in the seventh game in Miami? Did Shaq get any younger in the offseason?
    So the same folks who geve the Pistons a 5% chance of beating the Cavs are picking the Heat. That means so much.

    8) Hello from the obnoxious fans here!!!!...how is the rest of the world?

    Lets see....Detroit squeaks by a Cleveland team that only has one player....all the while only scoring 100 points in one game out of seven .....and you are going to tell me the Pistons can match up this year with the Heat?

    Impossible.....we have so many weapons and a real bench......how is Ben Wallace (clunk, there goea another missed foul shot) going to match up against Shaq or Zo.....how is Rasheed run free of Posey and Walker?....how is Billups going to keep his shoes on chasing Wade......I dunno but I think the Heat wins easily.

    If you are nice.....I might post some shots from the Arena

    Go LiL G!!!!!

    OK GIPPER

    <t>Gipper we barely lost to you last year with all of our 5 starters injured, yes that includes shaq and d wade, don't tell me you guys were a better team last year, everyone knew we would have went to the finals if our team was healthy.</t>

    First, let me congratulate you for putting up a post without insults.

    Secondly I'm with you in rooting for the Heat. However this Piston team will be favored and rightfully so. They have proven the last three years that they are a great team. Miami will have to play very well to beat them.

    It might help if Shaq could make a few free throws!

    Hey Gonz, if your team was so great last year but injured they wouldn't have made any changes in the off season. Instead, they made some significant changes. Why, because they knew that they didn't have it. As I said earlier, you might not have the best team but you have the most excuses.

    It comes down to Heat vs. Pistons. Head-to-head, eyeball-to-eyeball, mano-a-mano.

    That's the way it should be.

    :D For sure the Pistons are composed of some of the ugliest athletes I have ever seen.....Rip Hamilton looks like Jack the Reaper.....Rasheed Wallace like The Walking Dead......Ben Wallace like a black version of Frankestein......Prince like he is starving from Uganda and Billups like a slighlty elongated version of "Mini Me"

    Gosh-Awful Uglies!!!

    Hey I admit that Detroit has a history of "ugly" champions. Dennis Rodman and Vinny Johnson didn't win any beauty contests. But the way I look at it, it's a hell of a lot better than the South Beach mentality of looking good while getting your asses kicked year after year.
    BTW if Billips and Ben Wallace play like they did against the Cavs, even the choking Heat could beat them.

    :lol: Malloy........lets see

    If the "Uglies" win......I'll ship you a box of cigars

    If the "South Beachers" win.....what do I get?....PS....we don't eat sausage

    The Gonz.....Lil G is finishing up his finals.....Monster G wants to post too.
