I see… When the dirty dozen popped up, I didn’t say anything but wondered why. Oceans 11 didn’t seem to fit in the sports category as well. Then the “10” poster filled my screen and I really didn’t care what it meant. The next time I noticed, Nine, Eight is enough, and the dice had made an entrance. I understood the countdown at “10” but just didn’t care at that point.
Krebise, keep them bonz a rollin'! Taking my 7 year old son to his first Yankee game in The Stadium against Detroit in mid-August.....at the rate they're going, we should have a double digit lead by then!
Buckeye T, That game you are going to should be a great one. That is when the Yankees are in the middle of the most trying part of their schedule. Have you ever been to the Stadium? Don't be put off by the neighborhood. There's NYPD on every corner. Once you get inside it's like being in baseball heaven. If you can get there early you can do the tour of monument park. Pay special attention to the roll call immediately after the first pitch in the top of the first.... the bleacher bums in right field chant each position players name over and over until they are acknowledged by a wave or tip of the cap. It's really neat.
Krebsie, I used to spend quite a bit of time in New York on business.....I would make it a point to get out to the ballpark as often as I could, so I've been fortunate enough to visit many times.....always special. It's time to get the little guy fully engaged.....he's making great progress. Trot Nixon has just completed building a new home just around the corner from where we live.....even though he's no longer a BoSoxer, every time we walk by his driveway, my little guy pretends as if he's going to take a leak! He's learning....
